Administrator Bob Owens honoring retiring Nurse Helen Klusman
Bob Owens came to Elm Crest Manor in October 2004. Bob has over 27 years of experience and has been involved in many changes at Elm Crest and across the state of North Dakota in Long Term Care.
Bob is a two time past president of the North Dakota Long Term Care Association. Previous to Bob's two terms as President, he served in a multitude of offices for the State Association.
Bob has also served on National committees with the American Health Care Association and has been involved in telling the story of long term health care in the state. Bob states the difference between nursing homes really comes down to the people that take care of the residents. " We at Elm Crest have been blessed to have great employees."
Bob's connection with the New Salem community is emphasized by his involvement in the leadership of New Salem. Bob has served as the Mayor of New Salem and is currently on the board of the New Salem Economic Development Committee.
