Dana Pazdernik
Director of Nursing
Dana Pazdernik, Elm Crest Manor Director of Nurses grew up with Elm Crest. Dana began her career as a CNA in high school in 1989. Dana continued part time as a CNA through 1995, while working towards her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at Dickinson State. In 1998 Dana returned to Elm Crest as an RN. Dana performed as the MDS Coordinator until October 2008. In 2008 Dana was appointed as Elm Crest Manor Director of Nursing.
Dana's focus is ensuring that the caregivers at Elm Crest Manor provide quality care in a dignified manner, allowing each resident to maintain their own individual quality of life. Dana is proud of the employees at Elm Crest and states, "I can see the high level of commitment our employees demonstrate daily. We all take the care of our residents seriously, as we continually look to improve."
As Dana has developed and reached new heights in her career, so too has Elm Crest Manor improved. The addition of two new halls has created a myriad fof challenges for the staff. Dana points to the teamwork displayed by each department as the key factor for a smooth transition, a bright future and a home that we can all be proud of.
